Amazon Redesigns App Logo Over Resemblance with Adolf Hitler’s Moustache

A company logo is a symbol of your company's identity. Amazon.com, one of the largest e-commerce platforms around the world, changed its logo this year to something very controversial.

After five years of using the old logo, Amazon updated its branding by redesigning its logo. The new logo was designed to complement the organisations packaging that the consumers got at their doorstep. The latest logo continues to have a lovely grin at the centre with the tape on the top.

The firm changed the old shopping cart branding in January. They turned it into a cardboard box with a blue stripe, symbolising the box to be packed with Amazon.

The e-commerce giant Amazon has changed the concept of its new app icon after the company got bad responses from its users on the previous design. Amazon had to change the current branding from the jagged edges of the blue tape to the flat folded blue tape. However, social media users still claim that the organization's intention to reflect the lovely grin over its clients on the Amazon logo has failed, and rather shows a smiling face of Hitler.

Recently, the same scenario was happened with another largest e-commerce website Myntra which was forced to alter its branding after a Mumbai-based activist filed a complaint with the state cyber police, claiming that the company's signage was "insulting and offensive" to women.
